Matthew Rogers
Mr. Rogers is a litigation associate who focuses his practice on first-party property and third-party liability insurance coverage matters and related litigation, the appraisal process, public adjuster disputes, and insurance defense.
Mr. Rogers graduated from The University of Tennessee at Martin with a double-major bachelor’s degree (B.S.B.A., Marketing & Management, 2010) where he received the Faculty Scholar Award, an award presented by faculty recognizing outstanding students in leadership, academic success and service. Mr. Rogers earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Nashville School of Law in 2020. During his time at law school, he received the Student Top Performance Award for both, Business Associations and Domestic Relations courses.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Rogers worked as a Field Claim Representative for over 7.5 years in the insurance industry handling property and liability claims. He obtained the Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) certifications in 2016. He has been admitted to the following courts: State of Tennessee, 2021; U.S. District Court, Middle District of Tennessee, 2021; U.S. District Court, Western District of Tennessee, 2021.
Mr. Rogers was born and raised in Southwest Tennessee until he met his wonderful wife, Jantzen. He currently resides in Mount Juliet, TN with his wife and enjoys live music, traveling, golfing and waterfowl hunting.
